Recycled Metals

The sterling silver and brass we use comes from recycled sources. In the studio every bit of silver trimmed or filed away is saved and sent to a refiner to create new materials. Gold is reused in house to create new sheet and wire.

In this sterling silver pendant a Peruvian Opal is nestled with in a castellated bezel. Castellated bezels are made by serrating thick gauge sterling silver. This allows what would be hard to handle metal to be folded against the stone holding it in place. This type of bezel is a very distinctive as the sterling silver looks like the top of castle walls.
